PRESIDENT OBAMA
VISITS THE JERSEY SHORE
Below are photos from our President Obama saga beginning with the 5 hours of waiting in line for tickets on Sunday. It was cold and very windy on Sunday. Little did we know how much we would appreciate that compared to the rain and cold on Monday! (click on picture to open slide show!)
The theme of the President's speech was "Down the Shore everything's alright" - a famous line of Bruce Springsteen's song. The President also quipped "He's still the only man the President has to call THE BOSS"! The President encouraged people to visit the Jersey Shore, we are open for business and stronger than the storm. We are Jersey Strong!
This was a great experience, one that I will remember always. It was very cool to be so close to our president and to feel the energy he exudes. It is truly inspiring.
