I shared with you the tweet I saw last week about Bobbie Eakes joining the cast of Tainted Dreams.  I am happy to confirm it is true and it is happening now.  As a matter of fact,  here is a photo of Mx. Bobbie Eake on the set of Tainted Dreams with co-stars Meagan Robar and Grant Aleksander!

I always enjoyed Ms. Eakes portrayal of "Krystal Carey" on All My Children.   Her character had depth and dimension that was always interesting.  I also love the sound of her singing voice.  I wonder if the folks at Tainted Dreams could work a song or two into the story.....?  You can read more about Bobbie Eakes and Tainted Dreams in this press release!

NEW YORK CITY, July 30, 2013 – Emmy-nominated Bobbie Eakes has arrived in New York City and begins filming Tainted Dreams tonight. According to Tainted Dreams’ creator and executive producer, Sonia Blangiardo, “Eakes is playing ‘Courtney Parish,’ a television network’s Vice President of Daytime programming. She’s strong, powerful and well-respected until one split-second decision changes everything.” Blangiardo teases, “Eakes’ first scenes are actually night scenes on location with her onscreen husband, ‘Eddie’ played by former One Life to Live heartthrob James DePaiva.”

In the early 90‘s, Bobbie and her Bold & Beautiful co-star Jeff Trachta recorded two CDs for European label Arcade Records. Their records achieved double platinum sales status and the duo toured and performed to thousands of fans across Europe.
In 2001, while signed to Sony Nashville, Bobbie recorded a duet with Country Music superstar Collin Raye entitled Tired of Loving This Way. While touring with Collin to promote the record, Bobbie had the honor of performing at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
